but I've been stuck with this strong urge to either attempt a
full-length animation of some sort,
or to make a
nice loooong comic,
but I don't know what to do it about.

Well, you could pick three of your favorite words and craft a picture with the essence of them entwined in it.
...You could listen to Le Loup. I recommend "We are Gods! We are Wolves!" and "Breathing Rapture."
Oooor... you could try drawing something really hard. Like skydiving. Or round-house-kicking in worm's eye view. C:

You could watch some fab movies you've never seen. The Boon Dock Saints, Snatch, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang. Or watch something you haven't seen in forever, like The Land Before Time.

Or you could collab with someone. Or stop drawing altogether for a whole week -- no doodles, nothin' -- and see what happens when you put pencil/pen/etc. to paper/tablet/etc. after seven whole days of CRAZY ABSTINENCE. Like Ghandi but not as hot.
